In partnership with Vandana Shiva’s Navdanya, an NGO dedicated to the promotion of biodiversity conservation, organic farming, upholding the rights of farmers and rescue and conservation of endangered crops and plants in India, AMORE, has introduced India’s first authentic 100% natural Italian ORGANIC Gelato!

This new gourmet organic flavour line is Amore’s gift to India for Christmas and something positive to look for in the coming New Year. It represents one more guarantee of Amore engagement to bring happiness and health to gelato lovers, the environment and the Country.

Organic is good for Nature and better for You! It is a win – win situation all around as far as we can see. Amore is actively engaged is helping and supporting India’s agriculture and local farmers by working hard to source from suppliers, growers and local farmers who work by respecting nature and who offer fair conditions and salaries to their workers. Everyone knows that organic products are healthier, since they do not support the use of chemicals in raising crops and livestock. By their very nature, they also respect the environment and support rural economy. Organic farming is based on the idea that a healthy environment significantly benefits crops and the health of those consuming them. It respects natural ecological balance, maintains the health of soil and ecosystems in which crops and livestock thrive.

On the occasion of the Organic launch, Amore has supported Navdanya in creating limited edition festive gift packs of organic products for sale at select Amore Outlets and the Navdanya store.

The Navdanya Organic Mulling Spice Mix and Navdanya Organic Dry Fruit mix are a thoughtfully combined mixes of spices and organic nut and dry fruit, respectively. These come festively trimmed with eco friendly paper and are perfect for adding to Christmas hampers and gift baskets.

Every time you opt for an AMORE waffle cone, you contribute towards the empowerment of an underpriviledged woman and the upliftment of her family.

For those who still don’t know, Amore is a social based organization. Ever since Amore we opened our doors in India in March 2006, we have aspired to work for a better world, by supporting charitable organizations, local Indian farmers and by creating opportunities for those that have been sidelined by society.

A small initiative we have engaged in is Our Waffle cone Drive. Every time an AMORE waffle cone is purchased, it helps us empower a woman and uplift family because Amore’s waffle cones (those that we don't produce at our shops) are produced by ladies who have problems finding a means of sustenance.
