Amore partners with Navdanya on Sustainability. A large number of ingredients for Amore’s gourmet gelatos are sourced from Navdanya. The gateway to an established network of seed keepers and organic producers spread across 16 states in India. Navdanya supplies Amore with premium quality organic sugar, vanilla beans, dried figs, walnuts, cashew nuts, sesame among others. Its work over the past two decades has established this organization as one of the country’s most successful pioneers in food sovereignty, seed sovereignty and sustainable agriculture.
Amore’s partnership with Navdanya is founded on their shared belief in fair trade, prosperity for the farmer and the preservation of the environment.

Under the Mango Tree
We aim at building and promoting socially engaged business and organic food in India. To help us realise our goal we chose to partner with Under the Mango Tree. An ethical, organic certified company that sustains rural farmers and bee-keepers who produce honey .


The Village store
We are also partnered with an NGO facilitator called The Village store, in order to achieve a sustainable development. We now train and outsource our waffle cone production to women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Rural micro-businesses
Moreover, we are favouring the use of eco-friendly consumables(cups/spoons/tissues etc) from village Self-Help Groups and producer units supported by The Village Store, in order to provide market access to rural micro-business units. The Organization provides education, health and livelihood support to 280 villages in Tamil Nadu. The Organization offers job opportunities to women from villages producing handmade eco friendly paper and paper products from cotton waste and banana fiber with no use of chemicals.
